Warehouse Manager

• Coordinate, manage and programme the day to day cleaning of contents within the unit. Including: -
• The inspection of incoming contents for prohibited items and pre-existing damage.
• A final inspection of contents before return to the customer.
• Reporting of any discrepancies to the Regional Manager.
• Management of crates within the depot to ensure a minimum of 85% usage at all times.
• Supervise employees carrying out the cleaning of customers contents.
• Arrange and book the collection/return of contents for the local Porters as required, liaising closely with the claims teams and hires.
• Arrange and supervise external suppliers visits to the unit. (Terry Waters, Doree Boner, SCI etc)
• Meeting with Customers, Loss Adjusters and Loss Assessors who visit the unit to inspect contents, including the preparation of all relevant paperwork.
• Assisting the Regional Manager with the management of complaints as required.
• Booking of agency staff for both work in the unit cleaning contents and any agency staff required for removals.
• Working alongside the Regional Manager, manage and ensure all Quality, Management and Health and Safety requirements are met for audit purposes.
• Manage and up-keep the electronic equipment IT and assist the Regional Manager to ensure all staff are using it correctly.

Warehouse management experience preffered
