Job Description

The Desktop Surveyor is responsible for delivering officed based surveys utilising photos, reports and dimensions provided by our restoration technicians. and ensuring that these works are completed to a satisfactory quality and profitable standard in line with those defined at BELFOR UK Ltd operational procedures and techniques. This includes a strong focus on achieving profit targets controlling estimates, sales values and direct costs across Residential and SME projects.

  • Deliver quality end to end projects from survey, planning and through to completion
  • Plan project delivery in line with the scope of works utilising scoping tools
  • Manage the resources efficiently and effectively in order to meet profit and productivity targets.
  • Prepare all relevant paperwork, including, CPP & RAM’s,  to the pre-agreed company standard      
  • Liaise with the loss adjusters and insurers and customers to maintain excellent communication throughout project delivery.
  • Ensure good lines of communication between trades and technicians
  • Ensure that Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures are both understood and fully implemented.  Advising insured’s, where applicable, of the operation and safety of all plant and equipment including the provision of safety data sheets  when necessary.
  • QM respond and action any audit action with both the operative and the QM and H&S department.
  • Ensure responsibilities specific to your role as detailed within BKH L006 Health Safety and Environment Policy are complied with.
  • Assist office team with technical queries.
  • Arrange delivery of materials to each site to complete projects
  • Attend training courses when provided by BELFOR UK or any other external provider.
